Living the Christian life does not make one immune to trouble. However, Peter’s example in Acts 12 reveals how we may remain calm, faithful, and confident in times of trouble.
The Lord's church was established in Jerusalem (Acts 2). Then, congregations of that same church were established in Philippi, Corinth, Ephesus and other locations. Wherever the true gospel is preached and obeyed, the Lord's church will exist.
