Celine Sparks is the author of Whatever Happened to Fried Chicken?, How to Train Your Dragon, Because I Said So, and most recently, If Mama Ain’t Happy . She served as the humorist for Christian Woman magazine, and has freelanced for a number of other publications.
She is the special events coordinator for children at Polishing the Pulpit, works with FHU Horizons, Fall Creek Falls Bible Camp, and is part of the adjunct faculty for Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Knoxville.
Celine lives in Huntsville, Alabama where she and her husband, Scotty, worship and work with the Meridianville Church of Christ.
Celine enjoys speaking at women’s spiritual events throughout the country, but struggles with everyday events such as understanding how to get her car in line at Chick-fil-A and getting her lawn chair back in the bag, but if you like burnt cookies and dead houseplants, she’s your girl. She loves teaching and learning, and would rather laugh than eat, but just barely.
