Donna Faughn was born and raised in Metropolis, Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University and obtained a degree in Communication in 1970. In that same year she married Jim Faughn. They have been married for 52 years.
Jim is a retired minister and one of the elders for the Central church of Christ in Paducah, Kentucky. Jim and Donna have two children and five grandchildren. Their daughter, Amber Tatum, and her three children live in Cookeville, TN. Jim and Donna’s son, Adam, is married to Leah (Moon). They and their two children live in Paducah, KY where Adam preaches for the Central church of Christ.
Donna is a former Speech and English teacher and now is very active with church work and enjoys teaching ladies’ classes, speaking at lectureships, and enjoys reading and writing.
