Just A pilgrim on God’s Way. Glenn Hitchcock was born in Newport News, Va. He is married to the former Mercedes Dowson (51 Yrs.). They have one daughter, Lauren. The Hitchcocks resided in Hampton, Virginia and are members of the Peninsula church of Christ, where Glenn serves as one of its elders. Glenn is an honorably discharged Viet-Nam Era veteran of the United States Air Force (1972-1980). Glenn attended Oklahoma School of Biblical Studies (1979-1980). He is a 1982 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and a 1988 graduate of Saint Leo University. He completed graduate education in 1995 from Norfolk State University School of Social Work. He served as adjunct professor at Norfolk State University School of Social Work and the Georgia School of Preaching. He retired from Davita Dialysis, Inc in 2019. Glenn has been preaching the gospel for 42 years. He continues to conduct meetings and workshops throughout the country. He remains instrumental in assisting with church mergers, and he edits a devotional “Thoughts for Today to Brighten Your Day.”
