About me
Hugh has been a Christian for over 74 years and a preacher of the gospel for 71 years. He served congregations of the Lord full-time for over 42 years. For the past 24 years Hugh has preached part-time, filled special speaking engagements, preached in gospel meetings, spoken on lectureships, and continued an active writing ministry. He was formerly a staff writer for the Gospel Advocate under the editorship of B. C. Goodpasture. He has been a regular writer for The Spiritual Sword for almost 30 years. Hugh has a weekly email--"Hugh's News & Views"--that has gone out for the past thirteen years. He has authored five books. Brother Fulford was married for over 63 years until the death of his beloved wife, Jan, in May of 2021. He is the father of one son and the grandfather of two grandchildren. He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman College (when it was still a junior college), with additional studies at University of Louisville, University of Tennessee, and Austin Peay State University.
