About me
Neil Richey, an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling, holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands. He has a diverse educational background including a B.S. in Communication from Freed-Hardeman University, a B.B.S. in Bible from Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies, and an M.A. in Professional Counseling. Neil has extensive professional experience as a full-time core faculty member at Freed-Hardeman University and as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) operating his practice, Better Living and Counseling Services, LLC. He has over 30 years of experience in preaching and ministry, with involvement in various states and a number of foreign countries. Neil is married to Emily (Martin), with whom he has two children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, and flying as a licensed private pilot for nearly two decades.
